Orange Indien is a bright, pumpkin orange made by the oldest ink manufacturer in the world; J. Herbin.
Orange Indien is very dry and well behaved even on low quality paper. It has a very low saturation which gives it some great shading and light look. It comes in a small 30ml bottle that many people complain is hard to use when the ink level goes down due to it's shape and narrow opening. This can easily be solved with an eyedropper or ink syringe however, so it was not a deal breaker for me.

I love the Autumn, burnt orange colour this ink offers as well as the great shading.
Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of dry inks so this isn't one I write with offen. It also isn't a colour fit for work; It's brightness could make it hard to read for some people.
I will continue to use it for calligraphy, school notes and the occasional letter, but when it runs out, I would consider replacing it with a wetter alternative.
